How To make Baked Raw Banana Samosa? | Instant Baked Raw Banana Samosai Roti Recipe

aked Raw Banana Samosas are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional deep-fried samosas. Made with raw bananas and a variety of spices, these samosas are baked to perfection and make for a great snack or appetizer.

Here’s how you can make them at home

Ingredients

  • 3 raw bananas
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 10-12 samosa sheets

Instructions

  • First, we need to prepare the filling for the samosas. Peel the raw bananas and chop them into small pieces. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil and add the chopped bananas. Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes or until the bananas are soft and mushy. Keep aside.
  • In the same pan, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of oil. Add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and fennel seeds. Fry for a few seconds until the seeds start to crackle.
  • Add the cooked bananas to the pan along with turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spices are well combined. Turn off the heat and let the filling cool down.
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Meanwhile, prepare the samosa sheets by cutting them into strips of about 2 inches in width.
  • Take one strip and apply a little water along one edge. Fold it into a triangle, pressing the edges together to seal the samosa. Fill the samosa with the banana filling and seal the top edge by applying a little water.
  • Repeat this process with the remaining samosa sheets and filling. Place the samosas on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the samosas with a little oil and bake them in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Once done, take the samosas out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or dip.
