  • Cashews – 1 cup
  • Chocolate Chips – 1/2 cup
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Milk – 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cocoa Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Edible silver foil for decoration (optional)


  • In a heavy-bottomed pan, roast the cashews on medium heat until they turn light golden brown. Make sure to stir continuously to avoid burning. Once done, let it cool down completely.
  • Once cooled, grind the cashews to a fine powder in a mixer grinder. Make sure there are no big chunks left.
  • In the same pan, add ghee and let it melt. Then add the powdered cashews and mix well. Keep stirring for 2-3 minutes until it starts to come together.
  • Add sugar and milk to the pan and continue stirring. The mixture will become moist and sticky.
  • Add chocolate chips and cocoa powder to the pan and mix well. Keep stirring until the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan and forms a soft dough-like consistency.
  • Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down for a few minutes.
  • Grease a plate or a flat surface with ghee.
  • Transfer the mixture to the greased plate and start kneading it. It will be hot, so be careful while kneading.
  • Once it’s cooled down enough to handle, knead it for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable.
  • Roll the mixture out into a thin layer with a rolling pin. Make sure it’s even and smooth.
  • Use a cookie cutter or a knife to cut the mixture into diamond-shaped pieces.
