Ingredients

  • 3 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  • Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker or pot until they are soft. Once done, peel and chop them into small pieces.
  • In a pan, heat oil on medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
  • Add the boiled potatoes to the pan and stir them for a minute or two.
  • Add the turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to the pan. Mix everything together until the potatoes are coated with the spices.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the yogurt to the pan. Stir the mixture until everything is well combined.
