  • 1 cup lychees
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 1/4 cup almonds, chopped


  • To make the rabri, take 2 cups of milk in a heavy bottomed pan and heat it on low flame. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • After the milk has reduced to half its original quantity, add the sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the condensed milk and continue to cook for another 5 minutes until the mixture has thickened and has a creamy consistency. Turn off the heat and let it cool down.
  • Take the lychees and remove the seeds. Puree them in a blender until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the lychee puree with the heavy cream until well combined.
  • Add the rabri to the lychee mixture and mix well. Add the chopped pistachios and almonds to the mixture and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or small paper cups. Cover the top of each mold or cup with aluminum foil and insert a stick in the center of each mold or cup.
  • Freeze the kulfi molds or cups for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
  • When ready to serve, remove the kulfi from the molds or cups and serve immediately.
  • Garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds, if desired.


  • You can use canned lychees if fresh ones are not available.
  • Make sure to use heavy cream for a creamier texture.
  • Adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste.
  • If you do not have kulfi molds, you can use small paper cups or any other container.
  • To remove the kulfi from the molds or cups, dip them in warm water for a few seconds and then remove the kulfi.
