  • 200 g Paneer
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Fresh Coriander for garnishing


Step 1: Preparing the Paneer

  • Cut the paneer into small cubes and keep them aside.

Step 2: Preparing the Vegetables

  • Finely chop one onion and keep it aside.
  • Finely chop two tomatoes and keep them aside.
  • Finely chop one green chilli and keep it aside.

Step 3: Making the Masala

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
  • Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste to the pan and sauté for a few seconds.
  • Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until it turns golden brown.
  • Add the chopped green chilli and sauté for a few seconds.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they become soft.
  • Add 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.
  • Cook the masala on low flame until the oil separates.

Step 4: Adding Paneer

  • Add the paneer cubes to the masala and mix well.
  • Cook the paneer on low flame for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add 1/2 tsp garam masala powder and mix well.

Step 5: Garnishing

  • Garnish the Paneer Masala Fry with fresh coriander leaves.
