  • In a small bowl, add 1/4 cup of water and sprinkle the gelatin on top. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 3/4 cups of water. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Add the bloomed gelatin to the sugar mixture and stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved.
